RECENT COMMISSIONS AND PREMIERES
Most recently completed: 18 Questions Without Answers (2015) for solo amplified Turkish ney, commissioned by composer/performer Drake Mabry (Poitier, France).
Threnody (for baroque flute, baroque violin, baroque 'cello and harpsichord) was premiered by the ensemble Lux Musica in a concert presented by the Santa Cruz Baroque Festival, May, 2015 (Music Recital Hall, UC Santa Cruz).
Two new chamber works for early instruments were commissioned in 2014 by the Santa Cruz Baroque Festival, with additional support provided by the San Francisco Friends of Chamber Music: Further Reflections and Threnody (in memoriam Eugen Dombois), both for baroque flute, baroque violin, baroque 'cello and harpsichord.
ADDITIONAL PREMIERES AND PERFORMANCES
Four by Six (2011) for violin and guitar was premiered in March 2012 by violinist Cihat Askın and Mesut Özgen in Turkey, and received its US premiere in April, 2012 at UCSC's new music festival "April in Santa Cruz."
Corporate Miniatures (for voice and piano) was performed throughout Europe and the US during 2008 and 2009 by pianist Guy Livingston.
In and Out of Blue, a concerto for guitar and chamber orchestra, was given its first performance in 2006 at Wesleyan University by guitarist Cem Duruöz, with the Wesleyan Ensemble of the Americas conducted by Angel Gil-Ordoñez.
